History and Aims
Casa Rosa, Dominican Montessori Preschool was founded in 1970, by Sister Imelda Colgan of the Dominican Order.
The purpose was, and is, to provide affordable, high quality Montessori education to the local community in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown.
The preschool follows an aim of social inclusion.
We believe that every child has the right to a good educational start in life.

Mission Statement
Our mission as a Dominican school, is to create a secure, caring environment for our pupils, parents and staff in which each can live life to the full, in a spirit of love and forgiveness.
Based on a Catholic philosophy and the Dominican ethos, the school strives to nurture the dignity and uniqueness of each child, to include the child’s family.
We welcome and respect the diversity of culture, race and religion among our pupils.

Our Location
We are located in Dominican Primary School on Convent Road in Dun Laoghaire.
We have two large rooms; the Rainbow Room and the Butterfly Room in Dominican Primary School.
